Kniha Tajná kočka, vydaná v lednu 2025 nakladatelstvím Canc, představuje sborník osmnácti povídek a dvanácti ilustrací vybraných ze soutěže Cancík 2024. Tato antologie nabízí pestrou směsici žánrů, včetně fantasy, hororu, sci-fi a humoru, a je doplněna ilustracemi od různých autorů.
Co mě na knize skutečně uchvátilo, je vizuální stránka. Přebal je skvělý! Prolínání černých a bílých stran, které je součástí celkové koncepce knihy, skvěle sedí k příběhu a vytváří atmosféru, která podporuje napětí a zvyšuje zážitek z četby. Navíc ilustrace, které jsou součástí knihy, nejenže dokreslují příběhy, ale jejich barevné provedení je naprosto nádherné
Každá povídka v Tajné kočce má svůj vlastní charakter a styl, a ne každá byla úplně můj šálek kávy. Nicméně, musím říct, že i přesto, že některé příběhy mě nezaujaly tolik, rozhodně tam nebyla žádná, která by byla úplně špatná. Některé povídky si mě získaly více, jiné méně, ale každá měla něco do sebe.
Moje top tři povídky byly tyto:
- Příběh piráta – Rychlá a vtipná jednohubka, která se snadno zapamatuje. Povídka, která je trochu jiná, než bych od ní čekala – odlehčená, svižná, ale přitom s dávkou nadhledu. Skvělá na chvilkové pobavení a přitom nepostrádá svou originalitu.
- Kočka a netvor – Tato sci-fi povídka mě zaujala svou originalitou. Vtipná a neotřelá, plná nápadů, které mě příjemně překvapily. Byla to povídka, která dokázala s humorem nahlédnout do ne úplně obvyklého světa, což jsem velmi ocenila.
- Zázračná vakcína – Povídka, která je ideální pro chvíle, kdy si chcete odpočinout, ale přitom nepostrádá šmrnc. Mluvící zvířata, ironický detektiv a vtipné situace – to vše tvoří lehkou a zábavnou četbu, která se perfektně hodí na relaxaci.
Občas je skvělé sáhnout po povídkové knize. Tento formát má něco do sebe – povídky jsou obvykle krátké, což znamená, že si je může člověk užít i v krátkých chvílích, kdy nemá moc času na delší četbu. Pro mě jsou povídky ideální volbou, když potřebuji nějaký odpočinkový čtenářský zážitek, ale zároveň chci něco, co mi dá i trochu rozmanitosti. Tajná kočka splňuje všechny tyto požadavky – příběhy jsou většinou nenáročné, rychle se čtou, a přesto dokážou zaujmout.

Miluje fantasy již od dětství a její největší vášní byl a je Harry Potter a Pán prstenů. První si zamilovala knihy a poté i filmy. Od té doby miluje vše co je s fantasy svázáno. Ať už se jedná o PC hry, stolní hry, hru na hrdiny, knihy nebo filmy a seriály.
